Not really, although I have never tried it, other than competition for food. I do not think multiple males will work, however.

Fish I would like to get over time:

-ocellaris clownfish
-convict tang
-either a yellowhead, black cap, or chinstrap jawfish
-six line or flasher wrasse
-foxface lo
-some sort of reef compatible butterfly fish, maybe orange butterfly
-some snails, banded coral shrimp, and some other shrimps/crabs
-bicolor angelfish
-hopefully a some species of basslet, a flounder, and some sort of hawkfish

I know it's kind of a lot, but it is pretty much my wishlist right now and it would be nice to know if these species would work out together in my aquarium or any tips on how to set up my rock formations and sandbed.

I know it's kind of a lot, but it is pretty much my wishlist right now and it would be nice to know if these species would work out together in my aquarium or any tips on how to set up my rock formations and sandbed.

Tank has been running for about month and a half. Water parimeters checking out at zeros with ph at 8.3.

I have a pair of ocel. clowns in there now with about 10 snails (cerith,astrea,nassarius,turbos) and that's it.

I was thinking of adding the following:

Lawnmower Blenny
Diamond Goby
Orchid or Purple Dottyback
Coral Beauty,Lemonpeel or Rusty. Havent quite decided on which dwarf
Pearlscale Butterfly

Two dwarf angels is no no correct? lol

Other suggestions on livestock would be appriciated thanks. Also advice on order to add them in.

I'm in the spitballing part of planning & like the idea of pairs/trios/groups so...

100g DT 48x30x16
100-150g sump
200 lbs LR to distribute

-3 flame angels (females to start)
-1 saddle valentini puffer
- 5-7 (group) of sapphire damsels (or other grouping of similar size fish)

I feel like this is a bit much but want to hear it.

Actually, this thread does not work that way. I will be happy to analyze any stocking list for compatibility. But as those who follow this thread know, I do not make recommendations for a variety of reasons. I will be happy to look at any perspective stocking list, however.

one small fish plus inverts/corals would work; a sixline wrasse pretty much precludes other fish of a similar nature even in larger tanks

The chromis will come out to "hunt"/feed in the current, but then goes in back to hide in the live rock. The firefish stays out in the middle most of the day, but will dart for a hiding hole when ever there's motion near the tank. Looking for ideas for fish that like to stay up front and center ...

a watchman goby would be fine but then you would be done

I have a 60gallon hex with 40lbs of sand, 30lbs of LR. I have a tunze 9004 skimmer, LED lights. I will be adding more LR in the future.

It has been up since just after new years. I have two baby maroons maybe an inch each.
