I'm in the process of swapping DTs and putting in a basement sump. I need to move my livestock to another tank for ~1 month (at most will be 2 months). Here is what I have:

- 2 occ. clowns
- 1 yellow assessor
- 1 red sea mimic blenny
- 1 black cardinalfish

Will these 5 fish be okay in a 20 gal for 1-2 months? Or do I need to put them into two 20 gals? I have two 20 gal, but would be easier to have them in 1 tank, if possible. Largest clown is 2" and the cardinal fish is ~2.5". Others are small (~1"). Live rock will be moved into the tank (~20 gal per tank).

200gal FOWLR - have a 3" GoldFlake - just went in about 10days ago. Could I put another 2"GF in?

Pairing large angels is possible. Assuming no other conspecifics, it would probably work. But, be sure there are no established territorial fish.

That should work as long as the clownfish are not bonded and mating

Ok so I plan on picking up a some more livestock tonight and wanted to make sure what you guys thought before I went and picked them up. My tank is 210gallon (800 Liter)

Sorry, I do not provide analysis of aggressive fish commnity tanks. In the long run, your clown trigger will kill most other fish in your tank. You can post your question here.

Blue spotted jawfish need cool temperatures (about 72F) for best results long term. However, other jawfish species (one or more) would work fine.

Nice stocking plan. A bit much in this size tank but all fish except the clownfish will be peaceful. The clownfish, once sexually mature and bonded may prove to be an issue behaviorally.

Yes, I plan on waiting for a bonded pair of yasha gobies on DD.
My plan to feed mysis along with some other frozen seafoods twice a day (more if necessary.) And before adding the anthias setup a auto feeder for continual pellet feeding throughout the day.

I'm considering maybe one more fish addition for my tank down the road (not in the next couple of months).

I've got a 36 gallon tank that has a total water volume of roughly 32 gallons. I do have a fairly oversized skimmer (rated for 75 gallons - Reef Octopus BH-100) but definitely don't want to cross into that overstocked, skimmer constantly overworked territory.

Currently in the tank - 2 oscellaris clownfish and 1 diamond goby.

One, should I even consider one more addition down the road?

Two, would a midas blenny play nicely in this tank with what's already in there? I love the coloration and behavior that I've seen from midas blennies and it's definitely on my "small fish" wish list.

Three, are there any other really cool smaller fish that would make nice additions to this setup? It seems that most of the fish that I look at and go "Wow!" just wouldn't be suitable for this tank size even if they were the only fish in the tank but I know there are "a lot more fish in the sea" than what I know about.

they do eat frozen mysis. Your tank size is marginal but probably ok. Be sure your anthias eat pellets before depending on an autofeeder.

Lots more possibles, just check back here for behavioral analysis and compatibility. By the way, I grew up in Birmingham.

I am looking to add some new inhabitants. Looking at adding 3 royal grammas and a RBTA.

Any issues with adding the 3 royal grammas? I have plenty of rock in the tank with many holes/hiding places as I understand they like hiding places to dart into if needed.

FYI. In the future I will likely add a tang (either blue or powder blue) but nothing else in the immediate future. Just like taking it slow.

FYI. In the future I will likely add a tang (either blue or powder blue) but nothing else in the immediate future. Just like taking it slow. Powder blue should be fine, P. hepatus gets pretty large for a six foot tank.
