Pooky's 300

Very nice Kenny!

How's your bandit doing in this warmer weather.

Thanks Brian. The bandit is doing great. Nice and fat. The tank has been mostly at 73-74. During the few 100+ days we had so far, it went up as high as 76 for part of the day but hasn't been a problem so far.

Try it in lower light Kenny. Mine was the same way until I shaded it a bit.

Mark, I don't remember Asia being any brighter than it is here in the US. So what gives? :lol2:

I swear, what's up with this small eye syndrome??? I don't buy this Asian thing anymore :spin2:

Nice piece. I'm going the other way...I'll bet if Mark posted a picture of his it would have round eyes :eek2: It's kinda like that thing when dogs look like their owners. Corals must do the same thing I suppose

LOL - Now that you mention it your dog did look at us kinda funny when we visited you last month!

You continue to crack me up Kenny with these references :spin2:

If I can't make fun of my own people, then it would be pretty sad :spin3:

Its closer to the sun :hmm4:

But it didn't do anything in my case. My parents relocated me to a lower light part of the globe, farther away from the sun, but my eyes didn't get any bigger :hmm3: Although it looks like it may have worked for my kids though.

Dude, if my corals/fish looked like me, I wouldn't be keeping any of them :crazy1:

Kenny, if you think about, the eyes are another way for the chalice to feed. If it's getting more than enough energy from photosynthesis, why would the feeding tentacles need to come out....

Look at this guy :reading: He uses words like Photowhateverhesaid, then called them eyes :crazy1:

 You just made my day. Thanks for the laugh.

You are welcome. What are friends for :)

Explains why you don't have a dog :lol2:

Besides the obvious reason ;) if I did get one, he/she/it would probably run away on first sight just so it won't turn into me.

id be happy if mine even had eyes : / id be happy if i even had any chalice

Well, look at it this way. I've killed enough sticks that I need to keep some easy corals just so I can feel better about myself

LOL.....OMG, that's the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. Thanks for making MY day, Mark. I still get tougue tied thinking about that word, photothinthesisisis, whatever it was :D

Note to self: Don't read posts by comedians while driving in traffic:eek1:

And this is coming from a guy that refers to his fish as a Chaetodontoplus septentrionalis rather than a Blue Line Angel so the rest of us will know what is the heck he's talking about:fun2:

Yep, but then I don't call it nemo (even though mine eats like Bruce). I was referring to the knowledgeable recognition of the cellular reproduction through the use of photosynthesis, then to call them such a trendy term as "eyes" :hammer:
