Pooky's 300

LOL.........finally a few good laughs today.

What's up J. Haven't seen you around in a while. Hope everything is good.

It's been an interesting couple of years now, and I'm mighty ready for a rebound...It's coming, but taking way too long. At least I'm back to doing what I know and love best, which is financial planning and life insurance. I don't even want to think about trying to sell cars in 100+ degree heat.

Now I'm just trying to get rid of some of the corals that are crowding the 70g tank I've got set up so I can actually coral-scape it the way I want without a load of frag racks hanging all over:)

Glad to hear things are turning around for you. It does make a huge difference in how a day goes when you are doing something you love versus something you don't. Hope everything else works out in the best ways possible.

As far as your tank goes, it'll come along with time. Been there before with the hoarding mentality. A very bad habit to break :)

Not hoarding so much. There was more in the frag tank than I realized, as I had a 4'x2' area to lay things out. My 70g is 3'x18", and most of what made it isn't going onto the rocks. Those areas were reserved for Mark and Tim:)

Then, as things were very neglected in the frag tank for a year, I had to let them color back up before even considering selling anything. Wanting to actually deal with the mess of corals everywhere, sort them out, and get pics was yet another hurdle that I'm only slowly dealing with. I still may just walk into a LFS with a bunch of corals rather than go through all that...

I totally get the color (hurry) up and then sell thing. But sometimes, you just have to say enough is enough. You can probably get more if they looked nicer, but if it's intruding on the progress of the tank, then it just needs to be done and over with.

And yet you're posts were still censored

I figured it would've happened sooner than later. Got to keep the money train rolling, I guess. And now one of the so called Forum Pros has started a support the blue/LED look thread. How transparent can you be??? Maybe I'll start a "This is how your corals should look" thread

What did I miss

I guess I missed it to???

Ahh yes, Kenny's stirring the LED pot it looks like. I thought those corals always looked like that

I'm not sure which pro you are talking about since I only briefly looked at your posts, but I'll be sure to go back and read and look for some biased opinions ... not cool if that is the case. PM me if you know something I'm missing.

That would almost tempt me to log in and post some pictures  Naw....

Are you holding onto corals for me? If so, just do what I do and throw them in the garbage

That's cool, Sara. I just decided enough is enough and had a little fun, that's all :frog:

I am very tempted to post some real life pix in the LED argument thread. Hmm.....maybe I will. Can't pass up some fun and fireworks

Now, now. Coral are living things and deserved ethical treatment. Comments like that will get PETA knocking on your door :crazy1:

I'll pass on the fireworks these days, I'm one of the few who is not a forum pro so I better listen up and learn from the pros :strooper:

About Peta, the corals might have a better chance living in the garbage than in my care :lol2:
