Pooky's 300

Dang Kenny, that last Acro you posted is sooo nice. Lokani?

Thanks Austin. Yes, that's the 30K.

LOL - No fair as Austin knows what's going down with the tank :p

I'm going to try and make the system more manageable for me and take a couple hundred gallons off-line which will help.

Simpler is usually better anyways. I've also found that the 1 to 2 year mark is always the toughest period for some reason or another based on my own experience and talking to others. Hopefully you'll get thru the hump and it'll be smoother sailing afterwards.

Man, rough morning so far. Hope it gets better from here on out..........

Nice photo Kenny. Your shots always come out so clear. Are you shooting with a top down box? Sorry your having a rough start to the week, hang in man.

Hang in there Kenny and thanks for the Monday fix!

Yes, the 1 to 2 year mark has been painful, especially the past 6 months. The tank started filling 2 years ago coming up on Thanksgiving day, and it's been quite a ride! Let's just say my version #4 is going to be it!

Thanks Dan. No, I don't use a top down box at the moment. Still have to make one for my camera so I can shoot the 300. I just turn off everything in the prop and shoot away.

Hopefully things get easier after your overhaul. The trick is not to start over completely though. Otherwise, you are back to step one.

Thats the spirit (until the yamaha hits the snow)

Nice piece Kenny. Thanks for posting the great pictures. I need to take some new photos... so I can get rid of some of my castaways that is :celeb1:

Thanks Kenny, I'm just tanking some tanks down slowly and then swapping a larger one while the system keeps pumping water ... hopefully ;)

Thanks Mark. You know what they say. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

That's a first. Most people try to add tanks :fun5:

It definitely made my Friday :lol2:

Of course, I couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl :lmao: I was caught totally off guard and just stood there gawking with my mouth wide open. Only after it was over did I think to myself it would have been cool to have caught it on video. Oh well. But to witness the shrimp molting right there as it happened was definitely a memory I'll treasure. That's what reefing is all about. Seeing nature happen right in your home

Yes, I was talking about a CLEANER shrimp. Don't know what you guys were thinking about. Plus, I couldn't afford to hire a cleaner with all the money I dump into this bottomless pit
