Pooky's 300

Damn Kenny why'd ya have to go spoil the visual? I was thinking french maid, au pair, Fish House Girls or something. Seeing nature yada, yada, yada...stupid shrimp :mad2:

:lmao:

Sorry dude. I am kinda on the boring side :spin3:

Dan, I'm still trying to get over you posting somewhere that you love hairy sticks! I think that was in Brians thread ;)

Are you sure it wasn't Kenny...you know all of our posts look alike anyway :lolspin:

I am pretty sure that was Dan. Although "they" can't tell the difference, I can :spin1:

Hacked! Hacked I say. My account has been hacked. Someone call the Internet police. I demand an investigation. :hammer:

Well I'm sure glad I brought this to everyones attention as I've been traumatized since reading that! :fun4:

wow awesome tank! love your chalice and fish collection! just wondering what temp do you keep you tank at? thanks

Nice shot Kenny. She still has some of her juvenile color?

Brian, to be honest, I am not too familiar with the differences between juvi and adult coloration on this angel except the blue on the face of the adults. Are you referring to the yellow in the vertical band behind the face?

Beauty Kenny, how much has she grown? Let's see a side shot.

Thanks Dan. She's about 3.5" now. I can't remember exactly without consulting my log but I think she was around 2-2.25" when I first got her. I'll try for a side shot but that's usually harder since she usually moves so darn fast. I was actually surprised that she stopped to pose for that portrait :)

Yep, that's what I was refering to. It's one of the only differences.

If it is the yellow on the band, then she definately has a lot of that left. The top and chest areas are still solid yellow.

Yep, I do it for my fishies. The corals don't seem to mind. What temp range is your system at? I know it gets colder out where you are at but summers should be pretty much the same as here.

I run 75-76 degrees and I have to heat both in the winter and summer to keep it at that temp with the tanks and fishroom being in the basement.

You can drop the temp a few degrees without problems and save yourself some moolah on energy cost. Then you can throw in a few deep water nippers and butterflies while you are at it :D I wished we had basements here. That would save me so much headache and massive evap with all the fans going 24/7 in the summer.

Ditto I got rust on my tools last summer from too much humidity in my garage. Worse in FL than in CA. I have some insulation I am going to put around my sump this year to try and keep in some heat for the winter if it gets a little too cold. I heard the higher heat in the tank will keep the corals metabolic rate better for growth or something like that. That could just be hear say. I haven't had any growth except form a cats paw or something. Last year in the begining I lost some corals to my son and a sump issues when I was a way for a month.. blah blah.blah
