post pics of your Xeniid corals

Quite a few Xeniids are relatively unknown to the reefkeeping hobby (Sympodium, for example.) Please post pics of your Xeniids to this thread. What exactly is a Xeniid and why do some pulse? Check out this article by Anthony Calfo:

Here's my great Aunt Xena (doesn't like getting her picture taken with her hair in curlers):

Here is a pic of my forest before I moved my tank.I took all of it out except a small set of stalks on one rock.I am sure it will rebound in no time.I made about $1500 in lfs credit and sales to other reefers in about a year. Now if I could only get my other corals to grow the same...

Mine LOVE the light!! They even try to grow out of the water. They are actually about a 1/2 cm out of the water at all times. My fav. Coral!

hey staticfishmonger I have the same xenia as yours and just give it some time and put it next to a bigger rock. It all started with two little ones. :)

Fiji Xenia
This type turns blue/purlpe under strongs vho or 20k's. I'm really interested to see all the different types of xenia. At one point I had 9 species. I hope to build that up again.

Here is one rock, I also sold a lot of what I had and it just springs back, except where my lps are they keep the xenia pretty trimmed down.

and one of another rock and some onthe glass. That has proven the easiest to prop from is the glass surface.
