PowerBrites growing coral?

I am really struggling on what I want to do for lighting over our new 26g rimless bowfront I picked up from Ryan_. I'm considering a 4x24w Tek, or Coralvue's version with 5 1w LEDS, (I really like how this fixture's leg mounting brackets allow fixture to swivel 360 degrees for maintenance)...OR now I'm wondering on a diy fixture and mounting 3 powerbrites in it..maybe an all daylight, a combo, and an all blue.

Has anyone tried to grow corals with just powerbrites? I do know that if they are too close they will burn some, but I figure if I hang the fixture I could play around with height and see what works.

Yes, you can use just powerbrites to grow coral. They generate a good amount of par. Brent uses 3 or 4 powerbrites to be the only lights over one of his nano cad tanks.
