wow

looking great!!!

how is that vortech working out on that size tank?

Thanks!

The Vortech is awesome even on this size tank!! I'm getting another one and two wireless wave drivers to randomize the flow eventually LOL :D

Marc wants to kill me at this point guaranteed because the future expansion plans have not slowed. I can't tell you much at this point but I can say that the plans have gotten so complicated I began to learn Google SketchUp.

I am so unbelievably blown away by the power and versatility of this tool I wanted to post the beginning of my tank drawn perfectly to scale in 3d. I will expand the entire system off this mach up that I made and show you step by step the plans and how it works once executed. This is the future... unreal.

Also Paul reshipped me all the frags that didn't make it in the first shipment. My box got sent to another local hobbyist and visa-versa. We finally swapped today after a very complicated exchange involving Marc having to go get my frags Thursday (it's too complicated to explain). I only lost 1 piece this go around.

Anyways, I'll get some pictures up soon of them as well as Shipment #6 which finally came.

Well since no one seems to care about my corals and stuff :D, how about a dog update:

Kaela cut her paw open on a garden hedge this weekend walking in someones yard in the dark with my mom :( It was pretty bad and I had to bandage it since she kept licking it open. Then she got the dreaded funnel collar treatment to keep her from biting the wrap. I've been call her "Tripod" all weekend.

The funnel collar that fit her neck size ended up not being big enough to keep her from biting her paw so I had to extend it using used poster board. She runs into everything like a giant cone bulldozer (hence why all the edges are messed up).

This picture will forever make me laugh because she looks so pathetic and it's really not nearly as bad as she is making it out to be.

Your corals are so pretty. I can't wait to see pictures of the new frags. We need more updates!

How I missed this thread is beyond me, but such is life. The tank looks great so far, careful planning and execution so far.

Nice renderings on Sketchup , for the love of me I can't figure it out.

Check out that Lobophora & hydroids, you don't want that headache.

How do you keep a body like that with eating pizza?? ;)

Nice build thread! Glad to see Marc helping you out. Great Fella!

LOL! I eat pizza about as much as I play golf... which is why I suck at golf :(

And Marc is present just for eye candy :D The true work is done off camera as he and I bounce ideas back and forth to the point of yelling... I'm not exaggerating. :mad2:

I ordered a bunch of stuff for my new project from Big Als. Another shipment of new fuge bulbs is on the way as well due to me ordering the wrong LED bulb from Ebay that isn't bright enough.

I got a new battery backup for my tank as well that should be here next week. More details to come.

Also Ziggy was nice enough to send me a digital thermometer to check the accuracy of these 2 Lifeguards of which at least one is lying.

There should be a ton of updates on these and more with pictures soon.

And if no-one replies to this thread, Evan won't update it. So it is up to you, Reef Central. You will either make or break this thread.
