For those of you that don't know:

This program allows you to see the model in 3d and rotate around it in any and every direction 360 degrees. It's very neato and is perfect for planning a new system or planning additions to a existing system like I am doing.

The program is Google SketchUp and can be downloaded here for free. I recommend watching the video tutorials. Just a couple of them and you will be making models like crazy.

I watched Evan rotate and move items in the images on my other computer, and it was so neat. He could zoom in and out too. The static pictures simply don't mean a thing once you've seen that in action.

Evan, make a small flash version so your fans can see it. I know you've got nothing but time on your hands. ;)

Well I didn't get it all figured out but I did manage to get it to work. I did not do mine to scale and I plan on going back and watching those vids so I can get better with the program. I'm acclimating my newest right now a nice little sixline (not a fatty like Marc's) so maybe I'll do that while I wait.

And Marc you are right the action of the program beats the heck out of just seeing an image from it!

Here is what I managed to do in the program. This is what my 210 is going to look like (sort of ;) )

The wood panels are to cover the overflows and will be removable, I'm thinking velcro.

The hole in the wall is intentional. I can't have the whole end of the tank exposed for a few reasons but I saw a tank with a peek through and thought it was an awesome solution to my problem.

Those look great. We tried to load that software on my main PC, and it keep giving me an error and wanted to report it to Microsoft.

Fortunately, I have another computer here for my second hobby :D :D :D and that allowed me to see what Evan had created.

Thanks!

He is way better at it then I am but that is my first attempt. I'll get better and have it to scale the next time.

NICE Zig!!! Looks amazing! I'm so proud :P Let me know if you have skype and I can help you if you want. That goes for anyone else too. My skype is "notquik" and I'm on most all the time when I'm awake.

WOW Zig! I'm so impressed. You have some amazing caps in that tank and I absolutely love that teal stag. I wish my pictures would turn out as good as yours.

You need a phat Melev sump under the new 210. You won't be sorry if you get one :D
