Re-setting the 90

look like ur sps are growing out nicely, fast too! you think it's due to the LEDs?

Hey Lang, Thanks for the kind words... I think that the leds with the water params and the flow in the tank are what are making the sps grow so rapidly. I do attribute the colors to the leds..

Thanks Steve, Yes those are the ones I got from you. There are around 20 polyps on it now. Yeah not to bad considering it started with 2 polyps!!!

Thanks for the other frags as well,i'll be making some sps frags for you this weekend..

Ha! Thats...wow!,some seriously fast growth. If things are going well ,from a 2 polyp frag grown to 6-8 seems to be about the best I could ever get in a 2 month time frame.By comparison I'm looking at 1/3 to 1/2 of what you got from the same colony, not that Im trying to break any records, but it is nice to see stuff doing that well and something to take from, imo.

Thanks Henry, and back atcha from my tank..

Steve here's a pic of them...

There's 14 or 15 in the pic but they go around the backside as well...

Nice shot, and look to have held their color well ,too.

-So what is your bioload like in terms of fish and food input? Also, do you test for nitrate/phosphate?

Thanks Steve,
I only have 4 fish right now. I have about 20 blue legged hermit crabs, a tiger tail cucumber,a queen conch,3 trocus,3 nassarius and around 30-40 of another kind of snail. I feed h2o brand frozen food 1 x a day and I feed the coral h2o brand frozen phyto 3-4 x a week.Once a month I make up some coral frenzy and feed the tank with it. I don't normally test for nitrate or phosphate. I usually test for alk,ca,mg and ph once every other week. I do however run phosguard and Rox carbon in my sump in bags and change them once a month. I dose BRS 2 part and stronium& molendium per the instructions on the bottle(I feel this feeds the coraline algae).

Thanks for looking..
You're welcome! It's really such a chore to look at, ya know. ;)

And waaahhh, I want my SPS to have such good color! [/tantrum] About the only thing that looks really good right now is my ponape birdsnest. *sigh*

Haven't updated this in a while. Lost alot of corals back in November of last year. My alk. crashed pretty hard and I was away on a job. Anyway I bought a buch of frags and managed to save few frags of what I had. The tank has been doing real well and things are looking better and growing very well. Here are a few photo's from this past week. Enjoy and as always comments are welcome.
