Reefbreeders/(Evergrow OEM) Fixtures D120/IT20** series

I have a 65 gallon tank, 36"x18"x24". I have had a photon24 for 6-7 months and I'm really happy with it. I recently got a bit of extra money and I wonder if it would be worth it to upgrade to the photon32. I really like the current layout, and I think it would cut down the shadowing, but is it worth it?

i have 2 photon 16s over a 30x30x20

I bought two of the value fixtures on the last GB to replace one of the original Chinese LED's I got 3 years ago which did not have dimming capability. I switched to a larger 36x24 frag tank and needed more than just the one 55 LED fixture.

I mounted the two value fixtures using S hooks to a frame made from the U channel they sell for adjustable shelving. The S hooks slip into the slots nicely and make it adjustable. I just have one wire harness hanging both lights, but added some safety chains for reducdancy.

I have them running at 50% to start and will crank them up as the coral acclimate to having two fixtures over one. These are the default light configuration with the default 120 degree (no extra optics).

I have a pair of Radions over my display tank upstairs, but these more than serve the purpose for my frag tank. My coral growth the last three years under my original Bridgelux 55 LED fixure was great. Honestly, these fixtures do not look a lot different other than the dimming capability. I paid about the same price three years ago for one fixture as I did on the GB for both fixtures.

What intestisty do you guys run your lights at. I just got two value fixtures. I have just one 10 lb piece of LR with coralline on it. The rest is dry rock like Macro rocks.. What would be a good intensity for a FOWLR tank?

I have a dsa tank 36x,24 dont remember how wide want to get value fixture what optics should I get n could I grow sps

The optics depend on what size fixture you get and the depth of your tank. If you call Logan (Reef Breeders) and tell him what you have, he'll tell you what to get. You'll be fine growing SPS.

Fyi. My new controller arrived today for my photon 16. That was fast! I haven't taken it out of the box yet but anticipate installing it this weekend. I'll report back once installed.

Just curious...have an opportunity to upgrade my 60 to a 120. Problem is I just bought the photon 24 and really hate to get rid of it for more lights to run a larger tank. I pretty much have LPS and softies, couple SPS,etc. 120 is 48 x 24 x 24. I would like to keep this light and use it. Could it work?
