Reefbreeders/(Evergrow OEM) Fixtures D120/IT20** series

Just curious...have an opportunity to upgrade my 60 to a 120. Problem is I just bought the photon 24 and really hate to get rid of it for more lights to run a larger tank. I pretty much have LPS and softies, couple SPS,etc. 120 is 48 x 24 x 24. I would like to keep this light and use it. Could it work?

Yes, but you would have to add another photon24 to cover the tank compeletely. You do not need to get rid of the one you currently have.

Hey guys Question. I know this sounds bad but I need to supplement my Radion Gen 1/Gen 2 upgrade. I have 1 Radion over my 93 cube and it seem like its not enough light. I want to go controllable. What would recommend that's full spectrum.

Hi all. I just bought a IT2080 so I'm still getting used to it but so far I love it. Down the road I want to switch out some whites because there is too much plus use an Apex controller. Couple questions: 1. Can an Apex control the IT2080? I read somewhere it can't be done but also remember there is a way around it (I just don't remember where I saw it)
2. How easy is it to swap LEDs?
3. Where can I get Cyan LEDs for this fixture?

Thanks for your help!

!. I think you need to swap out drivers, but I'm not sure either.
2. It's not hard at all if you have any soldering skills.
3. I don't think you can, but again, I'm not sure. EverGrow, the original manufacturer doesn't offer them. And I'm not sure you can get somebody else's cyan led into the fixture and have it work.

Hopefully Logan will have better answers for you.

You're ok on the answers :).

As for cyan LEDs, LEDgroupbuy is a good place to get them, they have decent cyans.

this is the exact same size as my tank and I have 2 x photon 16's on mine. Even though I could have put 24's on my tank, 24's don't offer any more LED's then 16's, and with 120* optics I get just the perfect amount of spread for my cube. I recommend the reefbreeder's photon 16's or 24's with 120* optics and standard layout.

thanks everyone, my settings as of today is:
max is 90b- 80w 1hr. 90b-40w for 1hr, 80b 35w- 70b 30b- 60b-20w, 50b 15w, 30b-2w 15b 0w , 3b w0

Wow your running your levels higher than most people seem to suggest. Maybe I need to ramp mine up more....especially since I have a taller tank (210gal).

I think I have mine set at 60w 70b at the peak of the day for a couple hours.

Hi
why the different optic 90 120 etc ? I been looking at these lights, seems like pretty good price to get into LEDs and Im currently running halides on my 120 setting up 40 breeder for sps corals only and want a light for that any suggestions on which light ? I see people talking about IT lights but didn't see them on there site.
Also read allot about dimming what is the purpose of this other than just recreating dawn and dusk ?

Is it possible to put these on the glass tops if i dont have the room to hang the lights or a canopy? or is there some type of stand available for these lights?

I ordered a Photon48 last week and can't wait to set it up over my 75g. Pics will be up as soon as I get them. This thread needs more pics! lol
