I think that close-up isn´t the best option actually...wavemakers and powerhead Tunze or Vortech are much better in my opinion.
The rest of proyect is very interesting.

I also really like the TUNZE and VorTech, TUNZE use in my other tank.
but the closed loop pump will be very strong, so it will not use pumps to move only if necessary.

I like the closed loop... Its what Im going to use in my next tank build... its gives good flow and can be randomized while maintaining a sleek design...

I also love the closed system mainly because of the movement that causes the water and also because they do not need to put bombs inside the display, thus with a cleaner appearance.

Don't expect much flow because its choking on the 1/2 line.

I had to strangle the pump because the display is not great, the fact that 1/2 was the choice of personnel who designed, but I think the pump is too strong for the system, I wanted the pipeline to be 3/4 to water to pass more freely through display

First I will say that your new tank and stand look really nice.

I love the look of closed loop systems as well for the same reasons.

That reeflo snapper is severely restricted on the intake side.

Gotta agree with xenon on this one.

You should have made your piping larger, larger tees, and then reduced at each inlet. Your intake piping should be larger as well. I will be surprised if your pump does not cavitate with the inlet restricted this way.

I think the pump is fine. Especially for an SPS tank.

What are the two bulkheads in the upper corners doing? The ones that don't have any piping connected to them.

Looking good. How tall is your stand? Mine is 30 inches and I want one taller. Tours looks in the 40 inch range but can't tell on the photos.

Either your tank is way out of level, or that mp is producing a sick wave, LOL! Looks great!
