RIP Maroon Clown

One Happy Reefer
After 13 years my Maroon Clown died, I'm thinking of old age.

He was given to me by a friend who told me he had her about 3 years before
I received her.

She was a mated pair tending eggs for a couple of years which I never had
a chance to rear.

The male died in a freak electrical short from a heater an employee put inside the tank and forgot about it (he's no longer taking care of my reef.)

Fairwell, my Maroon Clown....

Sorry to hear that, Doc. I know how attached we can get to our sea critters.
On the other hand, 13 years is most certainly longer than that fish would have made it in the wild.

Good long life for that fish. I've never had one live that long.

Well, the good news is I'm up to my eyeballs in several varieties of clownfish. Just come by and grab a couple.

George
