I personally don't like the look but it seems easier, if you have the filtration for it.
Rock work is sweet! Did you use any rods to hold it in place?
How did you keep your parameters in check on the bowfront without a skimmer?
The video shows a large amount of fish, did you do light or heavy feedings? What was your waterchange schedule like?
Looking forward to this new build!!!
Nice rock work...
Good stuff Rob. How the progress coming along?
Did you decide on the BB thing? No matter what you decide to do, are you going to lay down some starboard type material?
that spot for the tank seems rather closed off from the house with that mini corner wall! hopefully you're reinforcing the floor under the tank!
go with a 1" sand base. it give look, and stay clean. mine is purely for looks. bare bottom to me is so unnatural, and its hard to keep wrasses if you do.
good luck!
Great video. How did you smash the trim on the tank? Looks good and normal to me.
There was only 2 of us when brought it home, and when we took it off the truck and tried to fit it on the stand between the trim which was measures exactly at 72.5" that surrounds the bottom trim of the tank, we couldn't do it, it was too heavy. So we had to angle it and laid it on the top trim and smashed it.
