Rodi under sink install question.

View attachment 32398854this diagram here. isnt this designed to just be able to shut off di when needing ro only? Not hooking it up this way just trying to understand what the differences are in this and the modified way
If the DI water out valve is closed and the RO water only valve is open, it will work as you expect - RO only water will be made. What is different from the way you have it?

You know what? Sean ^ is correct. I was misinterpreting the diagram. The other day. Sorry for the confusion.

well rc had made mention of an optional way.. he was thinking the way it was designed would only do di. so we got it figured out now

Again, my apologies. While I’m a very visual person, with this kind of stuff, I really need hands on to really work through it.

So finally have the system set up. Seems to be running correctly however the pressure gages reads zero. Weird because it seemed to work before. Also I get 0 on the out side of tds. That can't be right?

It will as long as everything is hooked up correctly.
Pump hasn't shut off yet but tank feals only maybe 85% full. Not sure if you can see from these pics how I have it (switch) installed. Tank has been filling for about 25 minutes. Not sure if that's too long or right on but gotta get the gauge fixed so I can make sure I'm getting the right pressure.

I *think* you’re good. Been a long time since I dealt with a drinking water kit. But, it is a pressurized tank so it may take a while to build up the pressure.

It looks correctly connected. If it's still filling it won't shut off, it needs full stop back pressure to trip the switch.

So where does the fast flow valve need to be set at? So I switched the gauge and it only showed me 20 psi until i pulled the vale back 1/4 turn. Now it shows 60 psi.

Gauge connected on black line on bottom Membrane

It should be closed - as in 90 degrees to the flow restrictor body. In line with the body is for flushing.
