Royal-Exclusiv Alpha Cone - 170 / 200 / 300 Announcement & Pre-Orders!

Guys... we are only passing along the info that is given to us. I am removing the expected time frame on all of the Alpha's on our website.

As of right now I believe I am getting a shipment on 6/1 or 6/2 from Royal-Exclusiv, but I do not know what is on there yet.

Thanks,
Jeremy

thanks jeremy. i know you don't have control over Royal-Exclusiv's shipping and i've recieved nothing but great service from Premium Aquatics, but you are doing the right thing by doing what you can control and removing the expected time frame on your website.... especially since the 2 weeks has long passed. thankfully Royal-Exclusiv is better at making quality skimmers than they are at communicating with their suppliers!

Does that mean it has push back? :)

Also, do you know how many 200 are you getting and whether it will be enough for everyone?

***UPDATE***

The 200's and 250's will be in stock next week. The 170's are right behind, which I am assured will not be a long wait at all.

Air draw numbers have been increased as follows:

Alpha 170: 1100LPH
Alpha 200: 1500LPH
Alpha 250: 2200LPH
Alpha 300: 4400LPH

Thanks,
Jeremy

Man that sucks, I was looking forward to having the 170 sooner rather than later.

Patience is not always my forte....

please define "right behind". a couple of days? weeks? month? inquiring minds need to know ;) i have a 170 pre-ordered, but i'm not sure i want to wait more than a couple of more weeks. thanks.

curious about the same question.

We should be getting enough 200's to fill our current pre-orders, but that's most likely going to be cut off in the next couple of pre-orders we get. If you're on the fence I would recommend getting in soon!

Glad to see that. I am sure this will make a huge improvement over what I first saw. should be pretty well matched now in my opinon. air / neck size. Looks very promising.

the only thing to watch for now is all that air in such a small body on the 170. It is a balance. Too much and you will get micro bubbles. But I think that it should be ok. we will see soon.

so jeremy what mod is it that letting them push more air and at water height is that?

From what I was told, the only change is the length of the nozzle inlet tube... they were shortened as discussed in the Alpha owners thread.

Hi Jeremy, I'm considering an alpha cone 170, would this be overkill for a 75g , 20g sump/ sps tank heavy coral load with light fish load?

Thanks, Ben

As long as you have a decent load on the tank you will be just fine. I'm going to hook up this skimmer on the exact size system as what you have here in my office as soon as it's in stock.
