Sara do you have a picture of your lights in the canopy? What are you using again?

I keep meaning to take photo's of it and forget!

I have 3 Lumenarc III's running 250W SE 20K Radiums and I supplement with four 18" actinic VHO's. I'll try and snap a photo or two this weekend.

Is there a lot of heat up there?

It's not too bad, but it helps being in a cool basement since that naturally cools my tanks.

I do have a hole cut through to the fishroom and plan in installing a fan to pull heat out of the canopy when I get around to it ;)

That looks like it would be quite a trip Sara. I think I would have a similar reaction about being "a kid in the candy store" :p

I got a rather nice shot of Sara's blonde naso yesterday. Thought it should be part of this thread.

It thought I had a bad day photographing Sara's fish, but it's turning out that I got a couple of decent shots. Here is Sara's powder blue hybrid. I'm not sure what it's a hybrid with. I'm sure Sara can give more detail on that. It's very young and hasn't fully developed whatever blue its body is going to show in adulthood, but it's still a very striking fish.

Stop it Gary....Stop it :p

Someone has to provide great pictures from my tank since I didn't listen very well to Gary's numerous photo sessions! Nothing turns out nice in autofocus for me ;)

I love that shot Gary!

WOW, Gary those are stunning. Sara, it all looks so good. Those are a lot of fishies still to add, hehehehe, the mirror idea sounds like a good one.

Sara has a small group of nine or ten anthias. Seven of them are regularly out feeding in the open water. The others are still hiding as they get used to the tank. This is the first time I've tried to shoot a group of fish such as this. These four seemed to work out decently.

LOL - you should see his macro coral shots! He is also a great tank plumber! :D

Beautiful shots, Gary! And a beautiful collection of fish, Sara! Now I need to collect some nice fish and make friends with a professional photographer :D
