sealife DC600 camera

is this a good camera??? ive been looking at it over the internet for about 2 months now trying to decide if i want to spend the money or not. I am still in school (yes i know im a young hobbiest but nothing's gone extremely wrong yet ) for a kid, $500 is a lot of money to spend on a camera. anyone with this camera, any feedback would help with my desicion.

What are you planning on using the camera for? I purchased this camera earlier this year. I had been using a 35mm Sea and Sea previously. I've only had the opportunity to use this camera on one dive trip. Overall I am happy with the camera. There is still a lot I need to learn. For some reason when using the optical zoom, the pictures are very grainy. Very dissapointing since I would have had some great moray shots! It takes decent topside photos as well for a P&S (I normally use the Rebel XT). Hopefully we will get to plan another dive trip soon and I can practice some more. Here's a few pictures that I took in Cozumel.
