Steve, I have not but I have an idea about jusing weld-on to make the areas higher.
Today, right now actually, I am going into the attic to place some support between the beams to hold my the light hoods I built.

Sadly, I still haven't gotten the Profilux hooked up yet.

One set of lights being hooked up now.
Took the whole day yesterday in the attic putting 2x6" in to support the hanging kits.
Not a finished attic...really low area lol.
