I'd check the stand to be sure it's level and straight, and not flexing. It sounds like a bad repair job, but since the tank's down, it'd only take a few minutes to check the stand.
ya! uhh. CL! well i just got done doing a re-seal!! we had 75 gal tank of CL too and it ALSO leaked!! we did some research and and me and my hubs tend to be pretty handy so we did our best and it had NO leaks! so well see how this turns out! itl be 2 days till i fill it with water!! then ill just add my rock to it and see if it takes weight well. does ne one have advice on proper re-sealing? what we do is strip off as much as possible, the caulk from the hole region its leaking from. this case being the bottom and the last case being the bottom also. then let it dry for quite awhile and even taking the hair dryer to it!! then caulking it well and running ur finger for a seal and then a straight edge over that!
it holds water! and ive rockscaped. i still have to finish filling and set it all up. my heater has decided to work only when it wants too! so ill prob have to go buy another uhh my luck...
