Show me your Pillars!!

well, not necessarily pillars, but i tried to find a happy medium between minimal as well as enough rock for filtration since no sump, and two high points for sps as well as plenty of lower space and sand for lps, all without any type of glue or bonding with the rocks in case one needs to be removed, heres what i came up with, let me know what you think.

heres mine. Photos taken 11/2013

Man some of these rock-scapes are amazing!!!!!!! I really need to revamp my tank I think and add some columns and shelves.

Pillar with a Magnificent Toupee!

Pillar with a Magnificent Toupee!

Pillar with a purpose .....

..... to prevent my Magnifica anemone from destroying the tank! No rods or pins, just strategically placed epoxy putty to keep things solid but allow disassembly if needed.

Old thread, but I thought I would add mine. I used hydraulic cement to secure three pieces together for the center pillar.

I just finished two of my 3 pillars in my 180g upgrade. I call the middle one Budda and the one on the right pukani bouquet. Take a look and see what I mean.

Both pillars were constructed with fiberglass rods and quickrete hydraulic cement. Let me know what you guys think...

Towers, Crosses, and Arches

I created my rock towers, arches, and crosses using homemade live rock around PVC skeletons.
