one year with t5, sorry no pics of old setup with MH. tank was setup in dec 2010 with T5. tank has always used bio pellets, dose two part and some diff amino acids and trace elements.

Hi for a reef tank 120x60x60cm-48x24x24" 120 gallon will you choose 8x54watts or 6x54watts T5's POWERMODULE. I wish to keep SPS close to the surface and LPS from the middle of the tank till the bottom. Any help?

I have a tank thats 20inches front to back, and a 6 tube is just fine, but I would choose to go with an 8 tube on a 24inch tank for coverage.

Also, 8 tubes allow for better colour customisation.

I would get the Sunpower to be honest. Save your money etc, no real need to get the PM.

I know many will say that an 8 tube PM will toast LPS corals. So I say get the 8 tube Sunpower and use a couple of Actinic tubes in there.

ATI do a dimmable Sunpower now as well, that would be very nice.

Its funny I still remember the discusions we had when Zeovit first came out. Boomer the user kept on trying to explain that the amino acids would get used up first by the bacteria. Then the people using the system kept complaining that there systems keppt dieing off so they complained to the company. And the company changed to dosing recomendations. and that happened week after week until it dident show negitive effects. people with hose ziovit tanks have money to buy nice corals aswell

ATI PM 8x54watt is made for a 48x24x24 120 gallon tank. You won't regret it.
