Great looking tanks everyone... Here's my 180...
Love your tank!
what's your bulb combo? How can I accomplish this color in an 8 bulb?

Thanks Mike I would go with 5 ATI Blue Plus, 2 AB Specials and 1 Purple plus.. That should do it for an 8 bulb setup.
You could also switch out the AB Specials for the new ATI Coral Plus
Thanks pimp4cheddar,
My tank was custom built from a LFS the specs are:
48"L x 24"W x 21.5"H (all 1/2" think glass) the water level is 20" diagonal corner over flow (1.5"drain & 1" return) The front and side of the tank are low-iron glass. 100 gallon tank with a 14 gallon sump.
My light fixture is an 8 bulb power module.
Bulbs form fornt to back.
1- ATI Blue+
2- KZ Fiji Purple
3- ATI Blue+
4- ATI Blue+
5- ATI Aquablue Special
6- ATI Blue+
7- ATI Aquablue Special

Not at all. I think your system looks great! As far a deeper colors go, It may just be the need some more nutrients.. I don't see as many fish as I would expect to see in a system your size. I know for a fact that my bioload has made a difference in my tank with deepening colors.
I haven't used it yet but I will probably switch out my geissman 12k to the coral plus. The aquablue special has a tendency to wash colors out if not balanced enough with other bulbs.
Great Tank JBanks!
How would you do front-to-back with those bulbs?
Hey, you can't go wrong with wrasses and hardy anthias like red sea Lyretails. The wrasses are beneficial for pests and the Lyretails are just pretty and add a lot of action to your tank.. Your corals will color up nicely for sure... Just ramp up slowly and give it some time. Once you have it repopulated with fish, you will no longer need to feed the corals anything. The fish will take care of the rest.Thanks. The colors need to improve for sure. I just started feeding the corals with "Coral Frenzy". It's fun watching the polyps retract when I put food in the tank.
As for fish, I am looking to repopulate the tank. I use to have large fish in it before. It will be smaller fishes this time. Just can't decide what to do yet. Looking for non jumpers. I have a rimless....Cheers!
