SLASH Officer nomination time... 2014

Up for election will be the positions of member-at-large "currently -> Dbuesking" and vice-president "VP -> Mr D Smack". As usual, the vice-president automatically becomes the club president the year following their VP term.

We are open for nominations for these two positions at this time. The nomination period will end at midnight Saturday May 24th. Following that at 12:01 AM Sunday May 23rd, there will be a 7 day period in which to vote for the officers ( IF a vote is required ). The new officers will take their position on June 1st.

If you wish to nominate someone for a position, please first verify that they are willing to serve. If you are in question about what is expected of you please ask a current board member.

So after speaking with those nominated, it looks like it will be Vspeck running for Member at Large, and Ebius running for Vice President. As there is no opposition, no election is required.

Join me in congratulating Vspeck (and I guess myself) as the newly elected board members!

As per our bylaws, The outgoing President, Twiggy, will appoint (with board approval) the Treasurer and Secretary. Once those appointment have been made and approved, I will post up our new SLASH board.
