What dosage are you using for the MB7? Wondering if you've deviated from the bottle instructions based on the look of your tank. I know it must be posted in here somewhere but after 20 pages I gave up looking.

I have recently been upping the dosage of the bacteria with positive results. I added a 30gl tank onto my current system so I am now up to 20 drops a day. So far, everything has reacted well and is doing good.

I just need to move around a few more rocks and let some of my corals recover now after the rock collapse I had last week.

Sounds good, Sonny. I've been using Warner Marine AA but will try Brightwell once I'm done with the WM bottle. Thanks for the great advice.

Sunny....instead of dosing the Coral Amino @ 10 drops every other day...have you ever thought about dosing it everyday @ 4 drops per day?? You would be basically dosing the same amount.....around 30 drops/week. I may start dosing it daily just to see unless you think it is better to dose every other day.

I guess I could do that but then I would have to turn off my skimmer more than I would like to. I really dont have a set schedule of dosing AA's. Sometimes I will go a week or more before dosing them depending on how my corals look. If my corals are light I will dose, if not I will just let it go and watch for signs.

When dosing AA why cant you just leave the skimmer on? Am I wrong for leaving it on while dosing MB7/ AA?

I turn mine off as I dont want my skimmer sucking it right up. When Dosing MB7 and AA's try and dose the AA's at least an hour before the bacteria. This way the corals will absorb the AA's and not the bacteria.

Sonny I got my MB7 today. If GHA is hanging around a bit should I go with the medium to high nutrient dosage? I'm just going to dose based on 100 gallons of water which would be 20ml per day for 2 weeks.

I would go with the high dose. I couldnt get rid of my HA until dosing MB7. Went form this

T5Nitro, follow the high dosage on the bottle until for the first two weeks and then we can adjust it afterward.

Thanks Sonny. Yesterday morning I had some time and spaced out my dosing throughout the day. I shut my skimmer off and dosed the AA first. An hour later MB7. Turn my skimmer on an hour after dosing MB7. There was more PE when doing it this way. After reviewing this I dosed the little bit of Vodka I do dose at night. Overall it seems better doing it this way. Hope you dont mind but I sent you a PM aswell. Thanks again Sonny!

I checked it out and it looks great! Your pictures are much clearer now.

Yeah all Vortechs now. I do still have a Tunze 6025 in the back of my tank under the rockwork and another Tunze in the sump.

Yeah, it was awesome! Wow, it would be HUGE boost going into WC2010 if they win this Sunday in the Final!
