sps death question

I had a orange monti cap that fell and landed on a green birdsnest.

There was a small patch of white when I took it off yesterday. Now the spot has almost trippled in size.


will it continue to spread or is that just damage that was already done but didn't completly die yesterday?

It may continue to spread. If you can I would frag the dead spot off. monti caps grow so fast it will be big again soon.

Is it sloughing off tissue? Maybe try coral revive or iodine if the problem persists. At the worst frag it out and it will grow back fast.
