Thanks guys! Its by FAR the best skimmer ive ever owned.. EVER!

So..lets recap:

My first skimmer was a Red Sea Prizm (Piece of crap)

Followed by a Sea Clone (No comment..LOL)

AquaMedic Turboflotor 1000 (...Bleh!)

Coralife Super Skimmer borrowed from my best friend MakoJ (Did a much better job than the other ones)..

Took a break for about a year..

Then, I had a Tunze 9005 (Best skimmer yet..)

Now i have this sexy ace BK..(No comparison..LOL)..

Its started sucking up crap within 5 minutes.. Ill post some pics tomorrow morning.. These are really worth the price. VERY easy to tweak.. the craftsmanship is incredible..Klaus really knows how to make skimmers..

Ill post pics in the morning :)..

Giga,

No worries!

Nice tanks..although i do see a potential problem on the smaller tank.. You will have sand blown EVERYWHERE..

Thats the downside to VERY shallow tanks. I know i had this problem when i had sand..my nano streams would blow sand everywhere..Thats why i went BB..

Diego,

Careful with that Bubbleking and no fish, you're going to strip the tank too clean pretty quickly. To counteract this make sure you supplement the corals with some food.

HELP!?

I still havent treated for flatworms...

Now i have flatworms coming out of my a**..

PLUS.. there is this mysterious white goo all over my rock/corals.. like..split..

Looks exactly like spit..

PLUS..a fish died and i havent found the corpse.. thats what i blame the white stuff on..

HEEEEELP?!?!..

Pictures would help.

Flatworms - red planaria? You know how to deal with them, correct?

Marc,

Yeah..I need to bomb this suckas with some flatworm exit.. and then do a water change and then run carbon..

The white gooey stuff... I have no clue. Id take a picture but its lights out :(

Ill take a picture in the morning..

Try and suck most of the Flatworms out first, otherwise a mass cull and subsequent toxic release might crash your tank. I am having the same issue. They are everywhere.....

Well, the flatworms are gone..but that white stuff is still there..

It looks like... spider webs that magically grow.. I have NO idea what it is..:(

Here are some pictures of it :(

White web-like stuff could be two different things. It would be nice to see the point of origin. It might be vermetid snails, which can be a plague (ask Hop) or just something interesting. It could be another critter on my ID page (a type of hydroid), which never has been a problem in my tanks.
