I have a few questions about keeping SPS under my Sunpod.

Tank info:
24 Gallon Aquapod
150w Sunpod Phoenix Bulb 14k

Parameters:
Amonia: 0
Nitrates: 0
Nitrite: 0
pH: 8.0
Calcium: 360ppm (dosing as we speak)
Haven't checked phosphates but I don't see algae

Filtration:
Mediabasket with chemi pure elite, purigen, and filter floss

My SPS is about 6-7 inches away from the MH. I have an echinata frag that has completely turned brown, a large green birdsnest that is for the most part green but a bit brown, and a garf bonsi that is a little brown except for the tips. I can see polyps on all of them so I'm not too sure what the problem is. My other frags are doing great though! Anyone have any thoughts?

Much appreciated!

Are you not testing for alk or mag?
what's your flow like?
When was the last time you changed your media out?

Are you not testing for alk?

Yes, that would be my first question too... alkalinity would be #1 test for sps other than calcium and nitrate. Also, if your coral is brown, typically means too much nutrient, phosphate could be part of that... does anyone you know have a hanna checker?

Haven't checked alk or mag yet. Maybe I'm over feeding? I have the frags on moderate to high flow and I changed the medias about 3 weeks ago. I change them about every month or so and I change the filter floss every couple of days. And I don't think anyone I know has a Hanna checker, what is it? Haha

A Hanna checker is a type of test kit for checking mainly po4 or phosphate.
Any decent po4 test kit will do.. The Red Sea test kit or the D&D kits are pretty good for testing phosphate.

Make sure you know all your parameters. Alk, Cal, Mag, Phos, salinity and temperature. Make sure everything is stable and consistent before adding anything else to your tank. Good luck
