I think it will look clean if i use the wavysea tunze holder, plus i can adjust the flow direction and i can hide the wire inside the PVC. What do you think?

I would not feed the wire through the pipe just because when it is time to clean them, it would be one more thing that you would have to disassemble and the reassemble. I know that I sometimes have a hard time cleaning just my front covers. It might be one more thing to procrastinate over.

I have thought about that as well :). I just don't want to take the change for the magnet holder to scratch my acrylic.

dont worry about scratch steve if you sneeze your tank scratch already that what you get when you have acrylic tank....

I think again THINK your not understanding. You can use the wavyseas but dont run the wires up the tube. That way when you have to clean the tunze its not a project to get it out and cleaned @ least thats what I was refering to lol

Tanya, i get your point.... Thank you

Anthony, are you jealous again? :D. i have a feeling that my tank water will be too clean even if i keep more than 200 fish in the system. Somehow i ended up with 3 protein skimmer :D. I think i am preparing myself for larger system...

haha yeah I'm very jealous at your tank steve...BTW I have to wait for my Crosshatch pair to acclimate better before Ming will ship to me.

I love the crosshatch. Make sure they eat before they have to take another long trip. I would love to get a pair of that in my new tank....

I sold my BK400ext today :( but i got the A-300 from Joe and also bought 4 tunze 6100 :D. 4 Tunze 6201 and 2 Y adapter is on the way along with the 4th wavebox. I should have all the flow device in the next couple weeks. My tank still on stand by because i have to take a trip to Colorado to measure the spot where i suppose to set the tank. I don't want to do an 8 foot tank and turn out to be too big. If the spot is shorter, the tank will be wider and taller :).

Coral vue will custom made the Lumen bright reflector for my tank with dual socket on each reflector. The new reflector call Lumen Bright Wide with the measurement of 24x24. I will do the combo of 400 and 250 on each reflector. I will use 400w 14k BLV with Galaxy ballast and 250w 10K reeflux with Coralvue ballast hopefully i don't have to change to twin 400w on each reflector :D

wow that will be an awesome bulb combination. I'm waiting for your luminarc order and I will run 2 10k and 2 12k reeflux in my system.

Dav offer a great deal if i order a bunch but too bad i can only fit 3 and 1 LAIII mini for you. Hey who did you bought for fish from?

Man that's awesome doing a dual 400 reflector. I saw one at MACNA Houston, it was aquarium specialty or aquarium obsessed I think. They were super expensive but a great Idea!

I am jealous you are running waveboxes, they are the way to go, I can't wait to see how you do it and I may have to do that in my tank as well.

Christ, that is Aquarium Obsessed the Sfiligoi pendant. I was gonna get that one but $1799 for each pendant will get me in a lot of trouble :D. Luckily, Dav at Coralvue willing to do the Custom pendant for me. I am still debating should i do all 400's or combo 250's and 400's. Even though electricity is cheap in CO but it add up really quick.

As for the waveboxes, i try to achieve 2.5"-3" of wave on that size tank. Therefore i use 4 instead of 2 or 3. My water level is 2.5" below the brace so no splashing if i calculate it right :D. IMO, wavebox is the best because it help keeping detritus in the water volume and get remove by the protein skimmer.

BTW, i no longer have the 400ext. My new toy is the H&S A-300 3x1260 and Elos NS 4000 protein skimmer. Both rated for 1000g system. I am looking at a very heavy bioload :)

Fish list:
2 pairs crosshatch or 2 male 1 female
10 purple tang (I copy Moonpod)
10 Yellow tang
50 - 60 green chromis
Vlamingi tang
Dussumieri tang
Blonde Naso tang (Pair if possible)
20-40 assorted anthias
Golden blenny
Scott Fairy wrasse
Lineatus
Mystery
golden hromboid
Pylei wrasse
Arabian pseudochromis
Harlequin tusk (australian)
labouti fairy

That is all i can think of at this point :D

incredible tank build Jar, also will the tank be overbuilt to handle the perfect storm :D? you forgot the manificant foxface

:D Bart, the tank made out of 1" acrylic all around, 6" euro brace with 2 cross brace. The builder told me to go 3/4" but i rather spent a little bit more $ to avoid issue. I am not a big fan of bowfront tank lol.

For some reason i don't find the foxface attractive :).

that's exactly how mine is built with 1" eurobrace, 1" sides and 3/4" @ the bottom, bowfront isn't that bad. its beats holding the magnifying glass

on side note, for some reason my foxface which i have been having for about 4 months now excretes some kind of white mucus out his top and bottom dorsals, is he ready to start killing not to mention he always sit inside the colt coral?

Bart, i don't know much about that fish beside it has poison :(. Is he being agressive toward other fishie? Or may be you don't feed him enough... oh BTW, salt water fish don't eat rice and nuoc mam
