Just read through the whole thread. All I can say is DANGIT !!!!!!

Simply awsome Mike. I got to get over to your place and to Tom's to get some ideas for my build.
Thanks Mark, it's lots of fun. Come on over any time.

Hey, a quick question, can you post a picture of the drains going int your sump. I'm curious as to how six drain pipes are sitting in the sump.

Thanks.

I don't have any, but I'll take some and post later this week. It's really quite easy to put 6 drains in a 125 gallon sump.

Mike,

Fantastic!!! Words just can't describe this tank. You did a fabulous job!

Please don't scratch the que ball. ;)
Thanks! I have a foam/plywood/foam sandwich that goes in front of the glass when we play pool.

The meeting went very well. Tons of folks. I got the willies watching the tank pH plunge to 7.77 with all the folks in the house.
I knew you would like that skimmer. It was great when I had room for it.

Awesome build Mike. I haven't seen it but there is nothing like seeing them in person. Ive been checking out all the big boy tanks such as yours and Tom's for my build. Great work both of you.
Regards,
Doug

How's the new light rack coming along?
I have the new reflectors, but haven't done any more. Life has been busy.

Ditto that! Are you liking the powerheads better than the closed loop? Definitely less work to keep clean I would imagine.
Once I got used to looking at the Tunzes, I'm ok with them. They work well with the Aquasurf and AC3 controller.

it's just beauty.. not more to say.....

ehhehe excuse ignorance here... nothing else to say it....

Tank looks great! I am sad I missed the meeting last month.

Are you using a controller (I think I remember reading something about an AC3)? If so, how do you like it?

I have a Neptune Systems AC3 and love it. From Neptune Systems, also have a DC8, DC4HD, Aquasurf, Breakout box, temp probe, and 2 pH probes. On the 4HD, I have my 3 250 watt MH ballasts and VHO ballast. On the 8, I have my moonlights, calcium reactor solenoid, both top off pumps, fans, and refugium lights. The Aquasurf controls 4 Tunze 6105s. The breakout box is for the 2 float switches for my auto top off.

You live close. PM me if you know you are coming this way.
