Stream Recommendations for 120gl(4x2x2)

Ok, I currently have 4 aquaclear 402's(270gl/hr),a Mag3(350gl/hr) and 1 802 Aquaclear(400gl/hr). I wanted to add one 6060. Would I be able to remove a couple of Aquaclears when I add the 6060?

I would be very surprised if you needed anything more than maybe one of those other pumps. I think I would keep the 802 and use the 6060. Please know that you cannot use a 6060 on a wavemaker.

Where would be a good spot to place it? on the side center of the tank blowing across? How far down should it be placed?

Side center or back corner blowing across to opposite front corner- position it about 4" from the surface. Be sure and get the 3000.244 extension set for Oceanic/All Glass and Perfecto style trimmed tanks.

Opposite side, probably best in the corner aimed across to the other corner.

rvitco what do you think about two 6100 with the 3094 controller on the same tank,120 gal oceanic 4x2x2. at the moment i have four maxijet 1200.

It's too much, get the 6000's.

i see i made a mistake with the configuration,what i meant was the 7094 multicontroller .will the 7094 give the same options with the two 6000.

I'm also looking at a 4'x2'x2' tank. My original plan was 4 MJ1200s and a 3/4" Sea-Swirl, but after looking at all the efficiency numbers and whatnot, I'm leaning towards a Tunze Stream setup.

I was looking at the 6000's, but I'm deterred by the cost of 2 6000's and a controller (total around $650). Could I go with 3 or 4 6060's instead?

You could use 2 6060's as long as you know you will not be able to control them or use them on a wavemaker. It is really worth the money to get the 6000's.
