Tank of the Month - April '03

alright Hambone... i see the problems with my sock method but hey it has been working. :D

For the fish selections lets just get all of them options 1 2 and 3 and for option 4 add a cleaner wrasse, some goniopora, a picasso trigger, a porcupine puffer, and several ritteri anemones that shouldn't put too much bio load in your 20 gallon. Make sure you use IO salt cause you definetly want those heavy metals. Keep up the good work

I'm thinking a shoal of adult Imperator Angels would look really cool....if you could see them.

SilverShark: I'm really intrigued now. You aren't a gorgeous blonde by any chance, are you?

actually I get it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its an April fools TOTM!!!! and HamBone is a creation of the mods and admins.. Yup Yup I figured it out;) :o :p

Congratulations Hambone!!!

This tank is really unique. Like I have never seen before....

For fish selection what about a coleacanthus? or even better, what about one of those new tank raised marine bethas? Their green purple color is just faboulous and that glow under actinics is great!

BTW Are you looking for an investment partner in you new upcomming pythoplankton culture sales?

Keep up the good work!

OMG!

You really had me going there...when I finally figured it out, I didn't stop laughing for five minutes....

A very bright moment in what otherwise was a dismal day here in Oregon!

Tanks a lot!

Jude

Is there some joke that im not getting??????

Hambone, your tank is awesome; And I think the white tip sharks do better in schools. When they start to get too big for the tank, please send me a frag.

SilverShark,
Thank you, this thread couldn't have been this good without you!
Do they have April Fools Day in England?

Maybe it's too much work and expense, but I think you should try a nano. If you're interested, I have a mason jar I was using to clean paintbrushes, but have rinsed it out pretty good. Much easier to move from window to window to keep appropriate light levels. Plus, all it takes is a good shake for turbulent water flow. With a shoehorn and some grease, I think a queen angel would be spectacular.

Hambone
I wish I could see your tank in person.
What salt do you use.
I use this kind(pic) but it says right on the front
quote
"This salt does not contain Iodine, A necessary nutrient"

There has to be something better, and every day when I add a bottle of Iodine it keeps turnin my water orange, what am I doin wrong?

Oh YOU, you got me

Oh YOU, you got me

Just fab dawwwlling, but I do beleive that there is room for at least 1 more Tang? Don't you. Fabulous and congrats to you. Keep up the great non work at this awsome tank. When it clears up, be sure to post a picture of how green all of the rock really is, its hard to see thru the scum on the glass.
Bet those tangs are sure happy tho. lol, thanks for the great laughs. You had me going for awhile when I went to your so called site and couldnt believe that they made that POS the tank of the month. hehehehehhe, thanka
