That's a super nice piece it's definitely different.

Looks like a grafted acro search green fluorescent protein infection or green jacket should point you to some corals that look similar or lead you to a possible ID.

The rest of the sps are looking good also looks like the tank is getting into its groove.

Thanks for the info. If you want a frag let me know. I'd like to see if it grows out the same in your system.

You're getting great saturated colors mate, very impressive :) How many banana wrasses do you have as they look awesome swimming among the corals.
Those zoas are bloody nice especially with those cool clowns above them

Went ahead and skimmed through the thread. Great looking tank! You liking the T5s over LED?

I like a mix. I'm running a BML strip light along the front for added shimmer and sunrise/sunset. I've ordered another one with the new 3 channel controller so I can control blues. violets, and whites. :)

Pictures look fantastic, colors look great, looks like it was just a tank maturity issue. My colors are starting to get better every day, except for the millis. :headwally:

I'd say the colors are slightly better in these photos. I like to turn up the blacks to get more focus on the corals. They're slightly over saturated but that's fine with me ;)

I'll always have a soft spot for zoas as much as I wanted to go all SPS. Thanks for the compliments.

Wish I had room to add some led strips. That's my only problem with the plastic frame on this tank.

Yeah tank maturity, running nutrients too low with ALK too high. Love the feeling of noticing day to day differences on corals.

Corals are looking much better! Nice colours on the acros.

Thanks m8. Glad to see you're successfully beating aefw! I thought I might have had them for a bit :/

and back in another algae stage.... at least the corals are growing and looking good.

got this red planet colored piece from buddythelion? (Darwin) Wasn't sure I was going to keep it till it started getting this nice red color.

this sunset milli is the fastest growing by far. Im guessing because its in the best spot for par and flow.

this piece isn't growing but the polyps are turning orange

new red planet is coloring up with the pink lemonade above it. Wondering if I need to move the red planet up.

this is my new favorite. this is a wild milli that is getting blasted light. this shot is right after I accidently moved my gyre in front of it. had no idea it had this color.

Thanks Sahin. That would be awesome if it keeps the colors. It was pinkish with blue tips when i bought it a couple months back.

Acros are looking healthy and very nicely colored mate :)
I'm just hitting a big algae cycle in the new tank but like you i just ride it out unless the corals show negative signs.

Thanks Biggles, its relieving things are turning around for me other than the algae.

Everything looked good on my test results from triton including PO4. My nitrates are actually really low too but who knows. I've tried fixing algae issues like in the past with GFO and completely wiped out my SPS. Not sure if this is diatom algae or not but a lot of it looks like its just peeling of my rocks. The hair algae is another beast I'll worry about later. Like you said, just ride it out, nothing happens fast in this hobby.
