Well it's been a while... :)

Lot has happened. The 30 breeder was taken down. Lost a few corals. Got lots of help from hobbyists and LFS's to make this new tank possible.

I suppose pics speak 1000 words.

tank started 4/20/2010: progression to present day

Nice collection of zoas! OK, I guess the acans are nice, too! ;)

Seriously though, it's beautiful. It's going to be absolutely amazing when it grows in.

Looking good as always dan! Loving the LPS route you've taken. I'll definitely be paying attention to how this grows in. I'm going with lots of acans as well as a 20H!

Thanks!

What are the specs on the lights/filter/current?

Lighting is a 24 inch tek light:
Bulbs as follows

front
-ATI blue plus - 9hours
-UVL superactinic - 4hours
-ATI aquablue spezial -4hours
-ATI blue plus - 9hours
back

I was previously running a KZ fiji purple bulb, but it seemed to have negative impacts on the colors of my acans, so I removed it.

Filtration is just a standard 10 gallon sump, with a 25 micron filter sock. I run GFO and Activated carbon. I also have a small needle wheel skimmer. Return is a magdrive 5 pump.

As far as params are concerned:
SG 1.027 (refractometer reading)
Alk 9.5 (a bit low?)
temp is always a hard one. swings between 78-82 :(

Happy endingz *finally decided my tank was stable enough to keep these alive, so I brought these back home the other day. :) By far one of my favorite corals in the tank

As colorful as everything is... my eyes keep being drawn to that large puffy plain deep red acan. That thing is gorgeous Dan.
