I just installed the Wavebox on my 180 on Friday.
Here's a couple of pics:

It does take up a little room, but what this thing does to the flow in the tank is amazing. My hats off to Roger and the Tunze team.
It produces a wave that is just about an inch and a quarter high. My 2 overflows don't have a problem with it at all. If I had to complain about one thing...it's that you do hear the water falling, just slightly, into the overflow when it crests to that side. The wave
comes just even with the top of my overflow! The trim on my All Glass Aquarium hides the wave action completely so you won't get sea sick watching your reef.
I know Roger recommended that when you use the Wavebox with Streams and a Multicontroller to use the interval mode, but I don't have the Wavebox hooked up to the Multicontroller (7094). I keep it on 24/7 and use my Streams in any mode I'm in the mood for. I change modes every few weeks to keep it interesting. I've noticed that the WaveBox works well in any mode and doesn't affect wave performance. Right now my 2 Streams are in pulse/wave mode and the current can get pretty chaotic. I do have the photo-electric cell plugged in so it calms down at night.
It is very succesfull at what Tunze calls "de-sedimentation". I did a water change today and there was more crud in my sump than I've ever seen before. It really flushed out alot stuff from within the rock structure. My redox (orp) as a result did drop about 20 points but has since gone back to normal.
Another concern that some members have had is sand bed disturbance. I've got a shallow sand bed in my tank and it stays put even with the additional flow.
In the next few days I'm going to try to figure out how to post a movie of the Wavebox in action.
