UCSB Santa Barbara NSW Natural Sea Water...

Picked up 250 G on Saturady morning and did my waterchange. Once again, no problems with the water. Hey Dave, tanks are clean now if you want pictures. But you better hurry as I'm leaving for a bit.

I got about 150G last night and had some trouble getting up this morning, lol. Looks like someone put a new attatchement to the hose... thanks to whoever did that:).

hey guys. was just there tonight and noticed the hose was on the ground again. please keep it nice as it is a nice resource and i hope we can all respect it =)

Everything was good at 3pm when I got water and I made sure the hose was wound with the end tucked in to the hose reel when I left.

So either my winding job was insufficient or someone visited between us and left things messy.

I was up there shortly after you then. I also tucked it in (and left more MASVC cards).

The hose was still dripping so I must'a just missed you Corriander :D

nah it was late late at night like 10pm+ but i put it back in place after i was done =) so just seeing if it was anyone from here. which i honestly doubt. ;p

every time i go get water up there i always put it back nicely coiled up. Ive seen the surfers and boogie borders use it to rinse there oboards and feet then they leave it on the ground.

I am over due for a water change its been about 5 weeks now. But its a FoWLR now so tank not as picky now. hehe but going this weekend maybe.

Picked up water Friday afternoon. Blue hose was disconnected from the other two. Made it a little hard to fill up but was managable. Didn't see anyone else around.

I just came from getting water, and found the hose AGAIN!!! in the floor, is it so hard to put a water hose back where it belongs? dont blame me if some day you get there and theres no more free water.

Keep in mind the hose is used by students at the school. Its not always one of us that leave it on the ground. As long as we make sure we place it where it belongs, we should be ok...

I totally agree, this summer when I was there some contractors where painting and used the hose to wash out some paint buckets. I mentioned it's salt water and they didn't care. Unfortunately there are others and non-reefers that are unaware to put the hose on the holder. Hopefully the resource management understands our sincere appreciation for this resource.

Was there last night and everything was neat and tidy when I got there (and of course when I left). But there were no MASVC cards there.

you guys are lucky that live closer to one or the other...i live right in the middle...2 hours to san diego...& 2 hours to santa barbara...

Picked up close to 100 gallons yesterday. Hoses were nicely coiled. Someone must have thinned out their fuge recently...there were a few clumps of dried out chaeto in the adjacent planter area.....:D
