Upgrade Build- Dowtish's 120 gal Oceanic Tech Tank DSPS

Tank looks great. Nice to see how well this tank has progressed. Although video wasnt terribly clear; I could still make out some pretty awesome colours on the SPS.

Very impressed.

Dude! Love your tank! I love the way you've used the entire water column. Excellent. Oh, and wipe the phone over the camera lens, LOL!

Love your video and corals
Thanks so much!

Thanks! Magnets have become my friends. I didnt even really show the big efflo colony that I mounted to a magnet. But the magnetic shelf is really cool. I am just a bit worried that the red planet is going to grow to the point where it cant hold up any longer.:)
I did say it was bad quality cell phone video. I actually broke the lens on my phone months ago and that is how it looks no matter how clean it is. :headwally:

How did I miss this thread? Great work!

I miss threads all the time! Thanks

Great job.........those pictures your friend took are stunning.

Thank you. I need to have him come back over. He has really fine tuned his skills recently.

Cool cell phone pic

Nice! Everything is really starting to fill in and look great. What kind of magnets are you using??

Thanks, I am really considering getting rid of a couple of things so there is room for the special pieces to really grow.

The magnets I am using are the Sure Grip 100's. They are made for some sort of powerhead, but are completely encased. You can find the on Dr. F & S.

Looking brilliant buddy! Filing out nicely and heading to TOTM quality soon. :)

Cmon now sahin! You're making me blush!:lmao:

+1, gorgeous tank dude!

Thanks man

Wow, looks fantastic. Do you know the variety of the pink acro?

Thank you.
That is actually PC Rainbow. But just the very top of it. I had it really high in the tank and it only shows off its red/pink and orange peach. I actually just moved the whole colony to the sand bed to bring out more of its colors.

Hi, again. I wanted to ask what your ballast brand is on the halides?

I'm in the process of trying to order a Spectra and was looking at the LuxCore. I was going to spec it out with Radiums and thought about driving them on the HQI setting via the LuxCore. Any thoughts?

I'm right down the way from you near Chattanooga too (as a side note).

Im actually using Icecap ballasts but its due time for me to look into some new ones. I am going with LuxCore when I make the purchase based on the info in the Giessman Lighting Thread on here.

I lived in Chatt for a year back in 08-09. Love that city.
