When are we going to be doing this Jebao group buy?

For what it's worth slfCaptain, there's nothing preventing you from putting together a group buy in your local forum, for those that live near you.

I'm not sure, I wouldn't consider running one without asking the people that have worked directly with Jaebo already. I tend to follow these threads pretty closely. There are costs involved in money transfers to China, and at least once, the transfer had to be done multiple times. Then, there's the wait time with people pestering the organizer about the delays.
IMO, they're cheap enough, get them on ebay if you want to try them.You'll have them in hand much sooner, and with much less hassle.
 
Thats ok. I ordered off amazon. I have my hands full with other stuff so I went the easy route.

Jebao just sent me some info on the multi-controller...there are 3 models available:

Controller model Suitable Pump

TC-6A WP60p+WP40p WP40p+WP40p WP40p+WP25p WP25p+WP25p
 
i think i am going to give these a try on my 210 (72x24x30) build. You guys think 2 wp40's or maybe 3 wp25's. I was thinking one on each side and one on the back wall.
 
I guess I'm out then since I'm stationed in Germany and I only have an APO back in the states and won't be coming back through for a while.

I love my WP40. As much as my 7 years old vortech mp40. However, i hear the controller can go bad sooner on the WP so would like a controller as a back up.

Then i see all this talk about the new controllers, Dual, i think have changed. Can i just get a regular WP40 controller to keep as a back up?

Eddie sure can...they cost $10 each (regular controller)

Eddie;

The WP pumps can be run from your Apex also if you modify the ReefAngel cable.

I've never done one for an Apex, but I don't think it's that difficult if you want to attempt it.

I was doing some reading on it last night and it's actually pretty simple.
If you want to do it, it want me to do it for you (since it's not as easy as putting a needle in someones vein or something like that :) let me know.
 
Steve, you will need to do it for him. He can really hurt himself, plus he rather buy it or have someone who knows how to do it before he does it himself. He knows his limits with his age and all. LOL, if you have a link please send it to me. I'm setting up a frag tank and will be using two or one WP25.
