I have 2 tank raised Ocellaris clowns now that want nothing to do with the new RTBA, I've tried everything, food, signs, bubble signals, even the nori clip that resembles there mother near the RBTA. They just stay at the other end of the tank. If I do get another type clown, will this cause a clown war? I know Ive seen a compatability chart somewhere. Just cant find it.

It took my ocellaris over three months in the tank with the BTA before they even noticed it. They did eventually jump in one day and now they never leave. How long has it been?

My black ocellaris clowns are hosted by a large toadstool leather. If you're just looking for a host for your clowns, maybe try putting one of those wherever they currently stay in the tank. Or just wait to see if they go for the anem. A week and a half really isnt that long. Like said above, it can take 3 months sometimes.

Maroons are the most likely to host but they are also the biggest jerks of the clownfish  Can't wait to get my 29g up and running with an RBTA and a pair of Gold Stripe Maroons!

It took i think like a day for my maroons to host and my black clowns just barely started hosting after about a week. they didnt notice it for a while, plus they were kinda scared and stressed. I would give it a while, they just need to find it and get used to your tank, it will happen, there really isnt anything you can do to force them. If it happens it happens, if it doesnt it doesnt. Maroons, tomatoe, and pink skunks i think are the best for hosting.

My maroon clown started hosting in 5 minutes! I've had true percs that never took to the anemone. I think it depends more on the fish than on the anemone because, as people have said, theirs are hosting in frogspawn, leathers, etc. Heck, my pair of oscellaris clowns keep hosting in my trach LPS even though there is a BTA right next to it!

My RBTA has been in my 100G for 8 months now and the 2 ocellaris clowns just ignore it. It looks like it did split day before yesterday though so I may have one available soon.

In nature, I don't think false percs or percs host bubble's.... although they often do in captivity. I might just give it a while longer, my maroon clown took awhile (at least a month as I recall) to host with a leather coral....

Your system is pretty large, so you might be able to add another species... some pink skunks clowns would work (I just like those)...

Back in my 55 gallon, I tried a RBTA. I had read somewhere that clownfish can be "trained" to host, so I photoshopped a picture of my clown into a picture of my RBTA and taped it to the tank for 2 weeks. As you can see, the clown really studied the pic, but never did go near the real thing.

Some of you have seen these pics before, but it's always fun! :D

you might want to try a seabae or a carpet nem for the ocellaris clowns.

I have a compatability chart in one of my books ill try to find it tonight and post up the results.
