Worm ID. Eunice or Bristle worm?

Saw this crawling around one of my zoa colony's the other night. Quick glance seemed like a bristle worm. Then today I saw it poke it's head out and then it looked alittle different. It has tassle like things on its head/mouth, that's what caught my attention. It was a baseball size colony that i was able to remove and waited for it to reappear. After fighting for a few minutes I was able to free it from the rock. As I was shaking the rock to get him off another baby fell off. Must have been in between my zoas.

So now I have two of these sitting in a bowl. I know I have other bristle worms and can ID them but this would be my first...and second Eunice worm. Is this what they are?

I'll try to get better pics...The large one is atleast 3" long when crawling around...

I don't think that's a bristle worm. I have never seen a bristle worm with antennae or mouths for that matter.

Dumb question, but since I kinda hate to kill things since it's not like it had a choice, maybe I'm to nice lol, anyways, could I confine it to my fuge? Or should I just discard all together?

I had a baby eunice worm grow up. I ate 11 clams, 1 helfrichi firefish, countless zoa colonies and when I found it finally it was 3 feet long. Never saw it once before the day I pulled out the rock.

Kill any suspect worms, crabs, snails, and nudis. Its like keeping a wild coyote in your chicken coop because it walked in there.

Man, I very got one that I need to get out of my tank this weekend. The problem is that I'm going to have to break down the entire tank, it's in the absolute bottom piece of rock. Nast buggers though, it needs to come out!
