Zoo Prop system in the works come along for the ride

Sorry guys, been real bz. I'll have to clean out the garage before I can post any pictures up :D I made a huge mistake of ordering 500 flat rate boxs from USPS. Dam I walked home to find 25 boxes of boxes in my garage. Its a bit of a mess right know but I do plan on cleaning out after work today. Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢ll also have to check my phosphate level today. It was through the roof last time I checked it but the coral I have in there now is doing ok and its been in for 5-6 days now. Anyway clean garage or not Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢ll try to have pictures tonightââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¦..

I also have a bit of a problem with the M59 ballast I traded for, its been having a hard time firing the bulb. Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢ve already checked the wire, which seems to be ok. Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢m going to talk to the guy I got it from to see if he knows whatââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s going on with it.

As you can see from the outside view its a dark picture, I had to adjust the camera because of the 400watt MH. The picture was taken at about 3:30pm so its should be very bright outside. You can tell how bright it should be from the first two pictures which are only lit by ambient lighting from the outside.

As you can see there is a bit of a brown algea problem on the left side but not on the right. I'm not sure this is so but I'll have to start cleaning the left side before it becomes a bigger problem. Most of the non zoo coral you see belongs to a friend that is upgrading tank and I'm holding it for him. Ohh and most of the small frags you see on the third picture are true blues and tub blues :D The last picture you see are frags that I'm already selling to raise funds for more colonies.

gemini aquarius(t) sorry I couldn't help you out on your project. Its getting bz at work and the little lady wants more of my time. :D

Anyway I dropped by a lfs near my house and picked up a small zoo rock of what I think is Tub blue but bigger polyps then what I already have!!!! I'll post some pictures when they start to open and let you guys decide.

I have about 14-15 zoo frags I'm selling, I also have about 6-7 I'm selling for a friend that took down his tank a few weeks ago. All the others are going to be prop for awhile. PM me if you ever want to come over to checkout the system and pickup a frag or two, I'm only 10min from HB.

have you had any hair algae/other algae issues on the egg crate yet? prob still too early for that yet though.

i have virtually perfect water chemistry, and same goes for others i know who use egg crate in their fragging area, but it seems everyone gets some nusance algae that developes on the eggcrate.

i've found myself taking the eggcrate out and just putting frags on the sand bed so my conchs can get to them and clean them up. most of my snails seem to have a problem climbing up the PVC, then getting onto the eggcrate and not falling off.

For some reason I only have an algae problem on the left tank and not on the right.

anyway checkout these babies :D

4x4x1 = ~ 140 gallons of water volume???

I have a 6x30"x 1 acrylic frag tank. Right now its not running though. I had it built by premium aquatics. Its about 110 gallons total volume. Really puts a lot of humidity in the air with that much surface water.

no its 4x4x8" 80gal + a 40gal sump maybe 1/3full of water and the rest liver rock. I do have two 34x12x12 tanks that I will be attaching to the frag tank for more water volume and areas for qting fish and what ever else I may need it for.

May I ask how mucy premium aquatics charge you for that tank?
