Ted, I wanted to thank you for doing a step by step posting with this fish, as you have done with other fish. I hope that people realize that it doesn't matter what you spend on a fish... it matters how you QT it, and take care of it long term, no matter what it cost.
I know rare fish get all the attention, but I hope people do the same with all of their fish.
Hey Peter,
Cool, just doing what I would hope to see if it was somebody else got this fish or, lol, any fish I find fascinating.
Yes, I agree, you and I have very def. and absolute beliefs on the importance of the qt protocols we put our fish through...
The peppermint will spend a min of 10 weeks in qt and at the end I will make decisions on where she will finally go...it still amazes me that there is any debate on the benefits of a thorough qt procedure...
These peps were caught in warm water which relieved some stress as it appears, at least to me, that they are perhaps more tolerant of temps than we initially believed...but I still have so many questions about this fish that will only be answered with time...Koji is keeping his tanks at 72-74...
I will keep you updated and always appreciate your advice and support..you are truly a wealth of knowledge...
