How are things going in the war on the bugs? are the corals holding up well, know their brown but healthy otherwise? Wishing you the best in your fight.

Evening Sahin,

Regarding Bayer, I am not sure if it is the same product that you were supposed to be getting from the US, but Amazon in the UK seems to have a Bayer product for killing bugs. Just to let you know.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bayer-Provado-Ultimate-Killer-Concentrate/dp/B0030FYFW6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1421191743&sr=8-1&keywords=bayer+bug+killer

The UK product contains a slightly different active ingredient. So its use would be completely unknown. The US product has been used by many hobbyists and hence is known to work etc. Thanks for looking for me though.

Going good. Thanks for checking. :)

Corals would have been in much better health if it werent for a small kalk spike. :mad2:

However, despite the kalk spike and the dipping, I've not lost a single coral which is pretty amazing.

That's good to hear. Sorry I couldn't find the time to drop off some Bayer for you while I was in London. We were only there on our honeymoon for 5 days before we left for Paris and the wife had us running all over the place.

I hope you had a good time in London and Paris; such a special time shouldnt be disrupted with reef stuff. :debi: You should know better. :lol2:

I made do with what was available to me and so far it is working. Such experience is invaluable. The current situation is putting me through loads of hurdles, but hopefully all will be well in the end and I would have learnt a bit more.

Was looking at my corals fairly closely this evening and I am noticing hints of colour returning on some pieces. Quite happy about that. :)

Glad to hear it's coming along and your not giving up. Don't want to hear about you tossing acros in the garbage =).

Good to hear you took care of them little devils ...man it I can bring you a frag of hot pink mille I would..we will be stopping over in London for a few hours only I wanted to do a few days lay over to see but I guess I will make it another trip..

How are things going with the reef mate, a little birdy tells me you scored a couple of pink milli frags....

Going surprisingly good Biggles. :) I am seeing more and more hints of colour appearing on the acros. I dont want to JINX myself, but I think the AEFW are gone for good. I will still keep dipping in any event upto 3 months to make sure, and then randomly dip selected acros.

Yeah I scored two pink millepora frags for free. They were free because they are turdy brown from being in a neglected frag tank. One is a frag froma wild colony and is very brown, whilst the aquacultured one has hints of pink on it. Currently in QT, just had Interceptor treatment a day ago all-SPS go through QT and Interceptor bath now ( :) Thanks).

Thanks mate. Next time you are coming to London and might have a bit of time, let me know in advance if possible please . There are a few bits I'd like from the states (no large items etc).

AEFW bastards beat me in the past; this is revenge. :uzi:I guess if I can beat them, it will give confidence to other people that they can do the same...

Hopefully...within the next 6 months my tank will look as good, if not better than it did previously.

Really pleased to hear more positive news mate, you might have to blow the cobwebs off the camera soon i think :)

that's great news sahin!

I've been Acro-free for 3 month now and i am so ready to get back!

glad things are turning around for you!

Glad things are looking up for you. Watch, after all the bugs are gone the bayer will show up! Ha ha

That's great news about the AEFW, hope it's nearing an end for you. Tank will be great again once you can focus on growth and color instead of killing things.

Cool man, would be nice to meet you. :D You will be most welcome to my humble home and see my tank of brown SPS frags. :lmao:

Ya it would be cool to stop by and hang out maybe we can get biggles , mike , scotty , fishy and the rest of the guys have a drink and hang out that would be a blast.
