This is what I now use:
My wife bought one of these for her 8 gal I think its the "nano" version and I must say... I will be buying one for my 65 this weekend! They are awesome!

Yes, thats the one. It looked like that when I first got it. Now In my tank the body is fully green (not blue) and the tips are sky blue.I had better attach a frag to a frag plug then. I like the sound of your camera gear. I will post a picture as soon as possible.
I am not aware of Clayton's green turaki. I am familiar with his "blue" turaki, which I never managed to grow after trying twice. His "blue" turaki always looked more green than blue though in my tank/under my lights. Is this what you are referring to:
It is supposed to look like, but never did in my previous tank.

Ya that one is good. But i am loving the new tunze magnet scraper it even scrapes off the coraline off the glass and it works well
I've tried the Tunze version. It works well too. But I think the Flipper has the edge. Once you flip it, the other side has a soft scrapper which gets rid of film algae etc. Overall, the flipper works better.
Its so easy to clean the glass. Biggles can keep his broomstick with blade. :fun2:
Holy smokes...those 1st zoas look stunning! (If Biggles asks, I never said that).
You're a disgrace to the world of SPS keeping mate :debi:
hahaha I definitely had nothing to do with this :lol2: I'm sorry to have caused you trouble and ridicule Sahin :fun5:

I'm pretty sure you're home now Sahin...... holiday is over mate - update !
For the record, i don't agree with Mike's nasty comment about your tank looking better since you were away from it for a while. He was only gone a week or two Mike and there's no way his acros could recover in such a short amount of time. :rolleye1:
I've got your back Sahin
Don't worry mate. I'm on holiday just checking in quickly so I won't be telling everyone about Biggles' secret acro dance he does in front of the tank every night...me and the kids having much fun in Morocco.
Hello mate. Not much to report.
Other than:
1. A Small millepora decided to part STN the day before I was leaving for holiday! I was expecting to come back to a crashed tank with lots of RTN/STN all over the place. Anyway, I pulled the little millepora frag and dumped in into the sump under the chaeto, out of direct light...I kinda of panicked and went into irrational thinking mode and thought I dont want the STN'd fleshy bits landing on other acros and causing a domino effect.
Of course unknown to me, it was the work of the one known as Darth Acro...formerly known as Andrew...formerly known as Biggles. He used the finger strangle Jedi force to cause localised STN on my little acro.
So, if you get random STN issues in your tank, there is ONLY one person to blame.
All the other acros are fine.
2. I have 3 pumps in my tank; 2 MP10's and 1 Tunze 6095...So a snail decides commit snailicide and forces entry into the blades of MP10 hooked up to the BATTERY BACKUP!
Of course the snail gets caught, blade gets stuck and momentum causes the whole wetside to spin off crashing into the corals and landing on the sand. Of course it had to be the pump thats acting as emergency backup for flow...bloody Murphy is so good at his job...The Tunze 6095 has a nice grill on the front which would have prevented this...now I am going to have to adapt the Ecotech battery to work on the 6095!
So without the flow on one side of the tank and my fairy wrasse smacking the sand all day and possible overfeeding by the auto feeder, I have some brown crap growing on the sand.
So Darth Acro, since you are the cause of no 1 above, can you at least provide some advice as to how to get rid of this crappy stuff on the sandbed?
3. My lovely Banana Wrasse decided to knock the sense out of himself by jumping onto the floor instead of remaining in the tank. Poor guy.
My little one was crawling towards the dried out fish hoping to taste/chew/play and thats when we noticed the wrasse on the floor.
4. Growth: Since I wasnt at home to stare at the tank everyday, the amount of growth on the corals I saw on my return was quite surprising. Didnt expect to see that much in 5-6 days.
I cant post any FTS photos because my laptop is broken. Hoping my bro will repair it by the end of the week.
