5.56 225 Peninsula reboot

I remember the coral and it didn't have a name. Either it was from Dave Botwin or from Adam. At one point it had that color for me under t5 but it was touchy for me and would go in and out of color. Beautiful piece for you

I don't think Dave has that one so probably battlecorals.

It's really an awesome coral. Red base, green coralites and light purple tips. And I love the growth pattern.

Looks great Mark.

When did you plant the weedy pink and golds? Hopefully they don't take over your entire tank.
they came from Mark when his tank started to split open about nine months ago. they've completely overtaken the back wall. I'm a little concerned about them. do you think a clown trigger would eat them?

Clown Trigger will eat many other things in your tank too!!

Just to be clear, C Trigger is my most favorite fish out of any saltwater fish, but I never trusted to put him in reef tank.
For the record, I have at least converted my reef to fish only twice in the past to keep clown trigger.

You have a Clown Trigger? Cool! That I'm not sure of, maybe. I am thinking some type of Angelfish... good luck.

Just got done reading this whole thing... wow. that is a beautiful setup.

Almost 270 posts, that's impressive! If you are out in the IE, let me know and you are more than welcome to to stop by and take a look. I'll hook you up with some frags. First one is free :)

Where in the IE are you? I'm out there all the time.

I'm more than happy to trade flight time for frags :)

It's the weekend... Snap the photo already!!;)

This is actually an older photo of it which does a better job of capturing the red/green contrast.

I really don’t remember Mark. Another thought I had was it came from Mike from Tehachapi and the more I think about it the more I think it might be from him.

I picked up some new frags, mostly from Brittrick

The photos are "meh" but I'm using this post to keep track of what I put where :)

Looking good. Great meeting you and thanks for the shout-out. Looking forward to seeing them blossom!

Very nice meeting you as well,

It will probably be 2"“3 months. Halide takes a bit of adjustment for corals that have been under LED for many years. Once they make the adjustment, they will grow like weeds.
