700g+ T5 & Sunlit Reef System

Stripes, could you comment on the swimming pattern of your clown tank? Most of the clown tangs I've seen inevitably settle into a loop pattern where they swim identical laps all day. Your tank seems well suited to preventing that, with limited rockout in an open layout and a very deep 5 foot front to back depth. Be interesting to see if these help the clown stay out of that rut.

Beautiful build! I love the scale - width of tank gives great depth and rock work shows off the beauty of the fish! Do you have pics of the sump layout?

See if I can find any.

The clown tang does not display any erratic swimming behaviours. Behaves like all my other tangs; as natural as possible. They even forage off the sand bed like they do in the wild.

The tank is awesome. Wish I could have a school of Anthias. My tank is over run with Tang so I have no more room. Can't complain though, they're beautiful.

Hi everyone,

Here is another vid I captured last week.

Things are moving along well, happy at the moment. Will be doing x2 1000L water changes in the coming weeks.

Wow... one of my favorite tanks. Love the dimensions. Love the solatubes (going to google them now). And love the fish selection. The "spare room" is also very interesting. Thanks for posting it.

Thanks guys. I really need to get off my lazy butt and install my calcium reactor and FBF's. Tank is nearly one year old and still haven't done it. Typical reefer procrastination. Haha.

looking good. what are you doing now for Ca and alk?

living where you do what is the situation for you to get corals and fish?

Carl
