Thank you very much shih buddy:beer:Nice sump setup and I enjoy reading your tank here during a typhoon day off in Taiwan ;-)...
You have a great fish and SPS mixed tank here. Cyano issue is also my pain in the past, but I got it resolve after adding a few white spot (Sixspot Sleeper ?) gobies. Anyway, it may not a suitable solution for your tank since my sand is only #2 size, and I have less big fishes than your tank.
Really glad you like it and appreciate the fact you read the thread during your typhoon day off!
I'll be happy if one day it'll get half as good as yours!!
Thanks for the tip on the goby!
If only my sand was finer:-(
Sump is very easy to clean being built this way and it's really difficult to trap detritus.
Thanks again shih
Heyyyyyy bello buddy:beer:Finally, the update
The tank looks good . I like the new anthias and chromis. What type of anthias are they?
BB looks great , I've heard of a lotta people having trouble while keeping Achilles, but he seems to be thriving.... I'd love to keep one myself if I had a bigger tank.
What are you using to take pics Mike? Some of the corals look very interesting, but its difficult to see with the pics. Time for a new camera?
Yeah finally,thread updated,lol
So happy you like it,it really means a lot to me!
The orange anthias are the classic larytail squamipinnis and the other, pseudanthias huchtii.Tbh i wasn't very excited with the second but now that they've colored up,they look really nice.
BB is already 7 months in the tank and i still adore/admire him like he's only 7 minutes in there(how cheesy was that, lol).
I really wish one day you'll get your bigger tank and get one.
That fish will be in one of the best hands/tanks buddy
I use one nikon coolpix camera bello.
It shots great pics in te natural daylight but with the tank i only get blurry pics or "blue loo-ed" (like biggles said lol) pics.
And i'm too lazy(zero skilled i meant ) to fix them with photoshop, etc.
But i think you are right,i must upgrade to a better camera (ahh...the way we find excuses buddy, lol)
Thank you so much for your kind words my good friend:beer:
Couldn't agree more ollypMinimal rock work, the only way as far as I'm concerned
Afterall, whenever i gave corals(especially sps) the time and the space to grow they did far far far better job in aquascaping than i did
The downside is thet it needs patiance
Thank you so much fishy buddy:beer:Looking good Mike, really like the scape:thumbsup:.
Really appreciate that you like it,it means a lot to me
