a simple sps tank

That will look sweet in there
Thanks ryan:beer:
I made the change today.Took me only a couple of hours and it looks good.
What i don't like is the white look of the rock but i guess in a few weeks/months it'll be purple :)

Very nice mike will look very nice with SPS on it, lots of room for growth
You got it there fishy buddy:)
I placed the corals and everything looks like it's in the air.
Now the tank looks like it has a lot more space for some stuff at the bottom:)
Even on the new rockwork there are one or two spots where i can place some new corals.

Cool idea - recycling - what a concept!
Thanks greg,my good friend.
Tbh i just wanted to save some money:o

Looks great Buddy great idea for sure...
Thanks dan buddy, really glad you like it:)
It turned out much better than i expected.

Mike that is an awesome idea and it looks excellent! Great job buddy :thumpsup
Thank you so much scotty, glad you like it mate:beer:
In the next few days i'll post some pics from the tank and how it looks with the new right side:)

Thanks guys:beer:

Ahem....cough cough..I think water just might be a bit better for growing coral, but its up to you:lolspin:

Sorry mike the bad Aussie sense of humor got the better of me:lol2:

Mike your tank and corals are smoking hot and I love the coral puzzle piece you made. I also see you have a acro crab that's cool ;) I killed mine off years ago when I treated my tank for red bugs:mad2:it was a very sad day. Now that I have some large corals I will install a few .

the rock will be acro colored in no time.... but more importantly WHERE ARE THE PICS!!!!!

You should know you cant post something like that without pics

Thanks reeflover for your kind(which are more than generous tbh : ) ) words:beer:
Unfortunately tank has a lot of time/work ahead in order to be nice:(
Well patience is a virtue,right?(wish i had it): p
I want to improve colors in almost every coral:hmm3:

Sorry about the red bugs in the past but nooooo sorry now, because your tank now looks awesome:D
The crabs didn't do nothing regarding red bugs?
I'm just asking because before some years i had a "nice experience" with aefw...twice...:headwalls:...and both times every acro i had with bandit crabs on it,looked much much better compared to the ones that didn't.
They also had very few of them.
So after that if i could,i would have one in every acro but i can't find them sold separately from the acro's.Atm there are 4-5 of them in the tank.
Nice move to install some of them:thumbsup:

It would wouldn't it: and you wouldn't need all the expensive skimmers and such:
Yeaaaaaaah....no pumps,heaters,controllers etc:inlove:

You should know you cant post something like that without pics
:lmao::lmao:
True ryan and i apologize buddy! After all....no pics means it never happened...lol
I'll shoot some later and post them...but don't have high expectations...you know how crappy photographer i can be: ):

I agree with Ryan, we need pics mike:
Cross my heart,i'll post some fishy buddy: )
I also added a small magnet rock,to the overflow,i had laying round and glue a purple stylo frag:-)

All this changes raised my no3 to 5 and i need to dail them down again to 2.

Hey buddy!!! :). Very happy to see your tank is doing well. Keep up the good work. Some sneaky activity going on in your tank I see, but all is good.

1000 apologies for the late replies guys:o

Hey mike were's those pics:D
Hey fishy,thanks for asking buddy:beer:
Will upload them asap

A couple of days ago i bought the dose n drop kit to test if daily dosing of digest and bioptim will have better effects to the tank, compared to weekly,i did before.
Had some issues though, installing the plastic part inside the vial,so half of digest went to the sink.Today i got a new one and will try a simpler and easier way that came up to my mind.Wish it'll work:)

Quasimodo is growing and gets beautiful

So first day after the change it looked like that

Ryan was right and the rock has started gaining some life very fast.Recent pics

And one from my phone where i fixed saturation, contrast etc....i'm telling you guys....the highlight of my carrier as a photographer,:lolspin:
